We provide anonymous help (accessible via phone, chat , or email) for anyone concerned about their attractions to children or who are worried about engaging in online or offline offending involving a child. We also offer support and guidance to people who are having difficulty managing their use of child sexual exploitation material (often called child pornography) or are concerned about their potential to engage in a sexual offence against a child. Our goal is to prevent child sexual abuse and use of child sexual exploitation material.

We are pleased to offer the ability to chat with one of our clinicians in over 20 languages through the use of DeepL Pro (translation software): Bulgarian, Chinese, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Latvian, Lithuanian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish, and Swedish.

For adults in Ontario and Atlantic Canada who are willing to no longer remain anonymous and who want to access therapy, a self-referral form is available to begin the process of getting help. More information about the process for obtaining therapy can be found here. Therapy is offered for people who do not have current legal involvement for a sexual offence and want to remain offence free.

The program is supported by Public Safety Canada and the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH).

Dr. Ainslie Heasman, PhD, C.Psych is a Clinical Forensic Psychologist at the Sexual Behaviours Clinic at the Centre for Addiction & Mental Health (CAMH) in Toronto, Ontario, as well as in private practice.

Dr. Heasman has published and presented internationally on clinical issues, ethics, and mandatory reporting in working with non-offending individuals with a sexual interest in children. She has provided assessment and treatment services to those involved in the criminal justice system for a sexual offence as well as those seeking help to understand the nature of their sexual interest in children.

She is currently the Treasurer on the Board of Directors of the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (ATSA) and an Associate Graduate Faculty member in the MSc and PhD Forensic Psychology programs at Ontario Tech University. 

Dr. Skye Stephens, PhD, R.Psych is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at Saint Mary’s University where she teaches, supervises undergraduate and graduate students, and conducts research.

Her research has mainly focused on the conceptualization, assessment, and management of sexual interest in children. Over the past several years, Dr. Stephens has been conducting research on the development of prevention programming for people at risk of sexual offending and barriers to its development.

Dr. Stephens is a Clinical and Forensic Psychologist in Nova Scotia where she works with adolescents and adults and has a particular interest in working with those at risk of sexual offending.

Dr. Ian McPhail, PhD is currently working in private practice at the Toronto Sexuality Centre in Toronto, Ontario. Dr. McPhail is also completing a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Montreal in Montreal, Quebec.

Along with his colleagues, Dr. McPhail has been conducting research into the development of services for the prevention of child sexual abuse.

His research also focuses on understanding psychological, developmental, stigma, and psychophysiological processes involved in pedophilia.
